Thomas Buckley

I am an apprentice IT engineer who enjoys problem solving and learning new skills. I work on site at a High school, managing tickets on the helpdesk and communicating with a variety of people. My favourite thing about my job is being able to help someone and getting positive feedback in return.

My experience and values:

I started my apprenticeship with Osiris in November 2023, after completing a 2-year course in Games Technology at college which involved using 2D and 3D Game Engines, 3D Modelling and Environmental Level Design. This allowed me to gain experience in creative programmes and software that could be used in the IT industry. I value being able to work collaboratively to effectively solve and maintain any tech issues clients may have.

Life outside Osiris IT:

In my spare time I enjoy playing video games with friends, exploring places of historical interest and drawing. When I get the opportunity to, I enjoy cooking and baking as well. I like to keep up with the latest technology trends and find stuff like robots, AI and VR awesome.
