What we target, what we've built in, what's still missing, and how to tell us when something doesn't work.
Our commitment
Osiris IT aims to make this website usable for as many people as possible, including those who use assistive technology, navigate without a mouse, or rely on browser-level accommodations such as text resizing and reduced motion.
We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the site. We test pages with screen readers (VoiceOver and NVDA), full keyboard navigation, browser zoom up to 200%, and `prefers-reduced-motion`.
What we've built in
Semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a single h1 per page. Visible keyboard focus indicators across links, buttons, and form fields. Form fields with explicit labels, descriptive error messages, and ARIA wiring for live status updates.
Body text contrast meets or exceeds 4.5:1; large text meets or exceeds 3:1. Decorative imagery is marked appropriately and meaningful imagery has alt text written in the brand voice. Reduced-motion is respected for every animation on the site.
Known gaps
Some imagery on the site is sized for desktop and may not be optimal on slow connections. We're working on tighter responsive image sizing.
Call booking on our contact page is provided by Calendly, a third-party service; we can't fully control its accessibility. If the booking widget doesn't work for you, the same page lists our phone number and email address.
PDFs and downloadable resources, when added, will be tested separately for screen-reader accessibility.
Tell us when something doesn't work
If you can't access something on this site, please tell us. We treat accessibility issues as bugs and prioritise them alongside other site work.

Enforcement
If you're not satisfied with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) or, for organisations subject to the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018, escalate to the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Osiris IT is a private company; we hold ourselves to the same standard.
